		<description>Oh ho, you should have seen the original.  I don&#039;t know if Dr. Tenma was in this movie, but in the anime, he builds Astro to replace his son and then promptly sells him to a circus because Astro could never...well, replace his son.  In fact, that&#039;s one reason I didn&#039;t go see this movie - I was uncertain as to how much of the original plot they kept.

Also, Unneccessary Love Interest.  Pass.</description>
